Eagle Vision Cinema
Eagle Vision, the leading independent producer, publisher and distributer of music programming for television and DVD, will be curating it’s first ever pop-up cinema at this year’s inaugural High Voltage Festival. The Eagle Vision Cinema will be co-programmed by the Cambridge Film Trust and will feature a unique selection of clips and features from over 20 films ranging from live concerts to rock documentaries on each day of the festival – many of which will be from Eagle Vision’s own back catalogue, as well as clips of recent hit films such as Iron Maiden – Flight 666.
The cinema will also feature live Q&A sessions from some the bands playing the festival including Rick Wakeman and Randy Bachman (Bachman & Turner).

Amongst the clips being shown are:
- an exclusive preview of the recently restored and remastered ‘Ladies and Gentlemen…The Rolling Stones’, originally released in 1974 showcasing the band on their 1972 tour;
- clips of the new Exile On Main Street-STONES IN EXILE film, documenting the band in the spring of 1971 as they departed the UK to take up residence in France as tax exiles;
- a selection of clips from the legendary Montreux Rock Festival including live performances from Alice Cooper, Queen, Status Quo, Deep Purple and Yes;
- a tribute to the late Ronnie James Dio with Holy Diver – Live, filmed at the London Astoria in 2005;
- Rick Wakeman’s The Six Wives of Henry VIII, the prog hero’s mammoth 2009 live restaging of his 1973 landmark album;
- a look at some of the most legendary Festival performances of all time with the likes of Woodstock and Jimi Hendrix Live at Monterey;
- some of Prog rock’s finest moments including Asia – Live In Tokyo, Emerson Lake & Palmer – Pictures At An Exhibtion The Complete Concert and Rush – Snakes and Arrows Live;
- a look at some of hottest US bands including the Van Halen/Chili Peppers/Satriani ’supergroup’ Chickenfoot and their new live release;
- clips from some of the most recent success stories of rock films at the movies including Iron Maiden’s Flight 666, where lead singer Bruce Dickinson, not content with fronting the world’s biggest metal band also pilots the band’s custom 747 from gig to gig, Anvil – The Movie a film that is equal part love/’bromance’ story as it is heart warming tale of the ‘never-say-die’ metal band and Some Kind Of Monster, Metallica’s warts ‘n all look at the band as they implode in front of the viewers eyes.
