Ace Cafe London

Our friends at the legendary Ace Cafe London will be joining us on site at High Voltage across the weekend of 24th / 25th July 2010.

It will be the first time that the legendary Ace Cafe has been to an outdoor music festival and they will be serving up some rock ‘n’ roll entertainment and a display of rare hot rods and classic motorbikes!

Ace Café London are proud to be hosting as part of their residence at High Voltage Festival, the historic Ronnie Lane Mobile Studio. This converted tour bus has produced some of the finest albums, selling over 500 million records, second only to Abbey Road studios.

Artists who have recorded on this unique bus include: The Who, Led Zeppelin, Bad Company, Eric Clapton, The Faces,The Stones, Mott the Hoople and Bob Marley. Still fully operational, the LMS will be recording an exclusive High Voltage Festival session.

Come sample the vibe as they record “The Flying Padovanis” (Sat) and “Steve Dale Petit” (Sun) for a Vinyl release “Live at the Ace” compared by Dudley Sutton.
