Saint Jude Biography

Saint Jude go into 2011 with a clutch of outstanding reviews behind them; Q magazine, Classic Rock as well as many of the main regional papers couldn’t praise debut album ‘Diary of a Soul Fiend’, released in November, highly enough. Classic Rock include them in their ‘Ones to Watch In 2011′ supplement in their New Year issue and included debut single ‘Soul on Fire’ on their cover mount CD.

But it is their live performances, led by soul-rock diva Lynne Jackaman that stop audiences in their tracks. In fact Saint Jude are fast becoming the patron saints of live music, restoring a lost faith in rock wherever they play. They are already accepting invitations to perform at major summer festivals this year after performing in 2010 at the ‘Isle of Wight Festival’, Guilfest’ and at ‘Summer Madness’ also on the Isle of Wight, where as late replacements they were generally considered to have ’stolen the show’.

Their first ever reviews in 2010 said:

“Saint Jude are embryonic superstars. If you like your rock’n’roll down ‘n’ dirty catch them while you can. It could be many years before they play venues this size again.”
- Tribune Magazine

“See this lot now, because I’ve the feeling they’re gonna be a major band very fast!”
- Classic Rock

They have lived up to these reviews and can look forward to an even more successful 2011.
